    'What’s a Ring Protect Plan?

Ring Protect Plans are optional offerings that let you get the most out of your Ring devices. There are two tiers of Ring Protect Plans: Basic and Plus.

The Ring Protect Basic Plan activates video recording, photo capture and sharing for individual Ring Doorbells and Cameras. It saves all your videos to your Ring account for up to 180 days (default storage set to 30 days) and photos for up to 7 days, so you can review and share your videos at any time. Ring Protect Basic Plans start at only £3.49 a month per device.

The Ring Protect Plus Plan adds even more to your home security. It includes video recording, photo capture and sharing for unlimited Ring Doorbells and Cameras at your home. Ring Protect Plus Plans start at only £8 a month per home.'

Ring out the changes by avoiding overpriced Ring.

Maybe consider a far more realistic option of total £8.26 and no subscription via that recently HUKD-friendly & quality products purveyor: Temu.
The £8.26 option includes the essential indoor tinkling machine to make you the envy of your tinklingless acquaintances & neighbours.
Uses highly-rated Tuya SmartLife app (4.7/5 at play.google) so opens up opportunities to use same app to control all manner of other smart devices
    play.google.com/sto…ife

This option is so ridiculously cheap you'll probably have to buy some other tat to meet the £10 or £15 minimum spend.
Maybe buy two to meet the minimum spend requirement,
and give the surplus one to somebody you don't like?
But be mindful of the aggressive marketing that warns "almost sold out"
