Work From Home

Do you have a work from home job?
Do you do anything in the evening and weekends?
How do you find it?
Do you have to go to the office at all anymore?

I was looking for part time evening and weekend work from home job

Did WFH for nearly 4 years before I changed jobs, it has a lot of upsides (not getting up as early, no commute, casual dress, the comfort of your own home etc) but the work/life balance usually gets affected, unless you have hard cut off times you'll end up doing more. Make sure to plan things outside the house too (walks, social gatherings, activities) as it can become very easy to stay in more than you expected.

I WFH and go into the office about twice a week, but am completely flexible.

I'm guessing there are lots of Customer Service jobs that will allow weekend/evening work from home.

I study and do temp jobs from home whenever they become available. In my last organisation, I worked as an admin so I'd be in the office once a week during the day and whenever meetings would take place in late afternoons/early evenings but otherwise, they were generally flexible with me to carry out tasks from home. I don't know about you but I've always found it easier to work by myself because I get very easily distracted working in groups, yet I become conscious of the perception of being seen as 'workshy' when that truly isn't the case.

What sort of work are you looking to do? Most work from home jobs seem to be admin/customer service based on my very brief experience, but you've also got temp agencies offering mystery shopping opportunities in which you engage with businesses in person or via other means of contact to collect data

I have a background in first line it support in education establishment and previous customer service in retail supermarket work

I do IT Support and WFH 4 days a week. My company isn't 24/7 so I only work normal hours but I am sure you will find big companies that require evening or weekend support for their worldwide users. The software companies we use certainly offer that support if needed.
