How do you deal with poor wifi coverage?

Hi everyone, just looking for ideas on cheapest way to fix wifi coverage at home.
I signed up recently with talktalk and the speed's been good on first floor but not on the second floor, especially the bedrooms as they're furthest away from the router.
I've got an eero pro, which has great app, but the wifi signal seems weaker thank the Virgin router i had in the past. The broadband package comes with one router as standard and i don't really want to spend £££ for another eero.

Does anyone else have a wifi signal issues in some rooms and how do you fix it?

Yes, mesh is certainly the way. You'll create a seamless network through your house and you'll probably get full bars everywhere. Once it's set up and and everything is connected you can turn off your existing WiFi network too. Also if you change your router you don't need to set everything up again as you just plug your mesh into the new router.

WiFi extenders just don't work as well and you'll be losing connection when you move around your house and it switches to another network.

Do range extenders work with eero?
Just spoke to Talktalk and they're offering to give me second eero for £6 per month, which would be better than range extender as it will create a mesh with the first eero, but not sure if i want to pay more

There's a lot of talk talk branded eeros kicking about. They're cheaper as they're locked to talk talk. Probably cheaper than renting one for £6.
I love in a 3 story town house. Router in bridge mode connected to error and a 2nd on the 3rd floor. Have no problem with coverage thoughout the house.

TP link wifi extender, pair it with your hub and plug it into electric socket halfway between wifi and signal loss. Costs about £14.
You can also boost signal with a flattened drinks can:

I have a devolo magic mesh wifi system which works quite well to boost signal through the house.

You need a range extender, recommend Netgear or TP link.

Do you have split band wifi 2ghz and 5 ghz ? If was split the bands by renaming them and connect to 2ghz as I’d had better range

Few options, Mesh like others have already said, but you can also go with powerline ethernet, which will remove the bottleneck of getting you wireless signal to the top floor, there are also powerline ethernet adapters that also feature wifi so that would solve the upstairs issue.(in one go as opposed to having to plug in a wifi device on top of the powerline ethernet adapter) The other is a repeater(like others also have mentioned.)

There are also apps on you phone that show how strong a current wifi signal is, might be able to help you what the best option is, it could also be that changing you wifi settings is enough, that the Eero is currently on a channel that a surrounding router or wifi device(s) uses too and hence your not getting the full strength of your signal.
