    Just on way home ATM. Paid £2 return n did Edinburgh hop on n off bus tour for £16 and visited the castle for £19.50. booked castle tickets online at the entrance. Saw some people paying at the gate. Weather was sunny, dry but cold n windy so wrap up well

    We're going tomorrow morning, really looking forward to it. Is there anywhere in particular you would recommend with the bus tickets? we've got 2 children with us so just wondering what places would be best to look around. We've booked these for Thursday its forecast rain all day so the brollies are packed aswell

    Getting expensive to visit Edinburgh.... train wise, paid 80 return for 4 adults 20y ago. Looking at 800 quid now !

    Keep an eye out for the transpenine express sale. I managed to get 2 adults and 2 children return from Liverpool for £6.00 going tomorrow until Friday. I'm not sure when it will run again but if you sign up to the emails you should get a notification. Hope this helps.

    Seems as though £19.50 entrance ticket fee is the norm in Edinburgh. We hope to see the Royal Yacht Brittania at Leith in April, that's 19.50 as well. I'm keeping my eye out for any deals.
