For anyone in the North West I highly recommended Arcade Club. It started with the main one that's in Bury, Gtr Manchester but they have one in Leeds and one in Blackpool now too. The Bury one is the largest arcade in Europe and has 5 floors of machines ranging from a floor of early classics (PAC Man, bubble bobble etc among literal hundreds) right up to consoles, VR etc. For a family of four a ticket is £43 (all free play) and you can be there from 11am till late. The food is crazy cheap and tasty too. Fed my family of four easily for £13. (edited)

What dates are your half term this year? My daughters school is a week earlier than normal, our useless local council changed the dates of some of the school holidays.

Why are there cheap crossing from UK to Dublin, but not the other way around? Or from Belfast to the mainland? Cheapest I found was £127 for a car & 4 people...
