They were on news recently, Jamie Oliver won a case against them on complaint aboit their food.
    Anyone know of it?

Seven years ago he publicised the use of Ammonium Hydroxide in processing the meat.
This caused McDonalds in the USA to change the way their meat was processed.
UK and Europe weren't affected. The US way of doing things generally is worse than here.

Too expensive for McDonald's in 2024

This is cheaper than a pasty in Greggs.

    99p -> £1.29? -> £1.49 now lol

To those saying this is bad food. What's the difference between me buying a nice steak in a store and cooking it at home, besides the price. (Focusing more on the beef quality, than anything else)

It's not how bad it is these days, it's how poor the quality has become when they serve it. In the past you used to be able to get a really decent hot fresh burger, sure they used to toast the buns. Now all cooked in advance, shoved in a draw and you're lucky if it's even warm

Don't use McDonald's anymore I know everything has gone up in price but McDonald's is to expensive for what it is

    Yeah used to
Be a cheap bit of fast food. Now it’s an expensive meal out me the misses and 3 kids costs at least £30 now where as it used to be £16/17 couple years back

It really is 1970s quality of food that never evolved, why everyone else is eating their lunch today. Even BK is way better and no one would have ever said that 30 years ago.

It's cheap, convenient, easy and familiar so people just do the easy thing.
I wouldn't choose to eat it unless I was hungry and it was the only option.

Read Ultra processed people and see if you still want to eat this junk

I better not read it then, love a bigmac

A time machine is the only option for you.

Wish they offered a double egg muffin for the same price instead

Something to write in the suggestion box I guess

Mrs Tibbs used to love McDonald’s, especially the Big Mac Meal. Sadly, the Big Mac is a small burger these days with quality control diabolical. Plenty of better opportunities such as Burger King

McDonald's is a real estate / property company that sells burgers as a way of generating income for its tennants so that they can pay rent to McD. The below video explains it:

We just get the frozen sausage patties from Aldi, as well as the muffins, cook them, keep them hot in foil, and do our eggs in silicon rings in the same frying pan afterwards...no hassle, tastier and cheaper.

McDonalds, Maroon 5 and the Rolling Stones have just released a new sandwich, it's called the 'Used to Moo like McJagger! Here all week, etc. etc.

I left a McDonald’s cheeseburger on a wall once and it was still there 3 weeks later looked exactly the same
    crabstix69's avatar
I’m surprised no animals tried to eat it

Thanks OP! I can only order £1.49 Big Mac on Android but all offers available on iOS for some reason.
