    Stupid question - but can I sell the 512 that’s in my Ally currently, if I replace it? There’s no proprietary fittings or anything?

    Yes you can it's just another 2230, should be a Micron branded one. To be honest I'd keep it in case your Ally needs to go back under warranty. I had to send mine back after 6 weeks for dead SD reader.

    There is, I'm just not sure it is allowed to be posted on here. You can get a 2tb western digital for less than double this price on there
