This charger is equipped with a grounded wire, making it safer than chargers with plastic “fake” ground wires. Moreover, it eliminates the tingling sensation experienced when touching the device while it is charging, which is due to induced currents. This feature is particularly important for devices with metal casings, such as MacBooks, which should take note. (Apple original charger don't have ground wires)

I agree in regards to the ground pin on this Lenovo PSU but I've been using Macbooks for over 10 years & have never experienced what you described.

Serious question. Why would you buy something like this that needs an extra cable, only has one port, when you can buy a block with a built in plug and extra ports for similar money?

Perhaps you'd like the fact that this one is from an acknowledged long-standing manufacturer of devices and peripherals, rather than a randomly named Chinese brand ? I can't see the CE mark on any photos that one you posted, personally that would be enough to put me off.

how does it compare in size to GaN ones like Anker or Ugreen
    sheffield788's avatar
I replaced all my laptops' power bricks with GaN chargers. You don't compare the brands. You compare the specs.Similar specs Anker or Ugreen are as good as this one, and you can charge more devices at once. Plus, they are more travel friendly and keep your place tidy.

This is way better than any of the regular usb c chargers even for phones. Very reliable charger.

I replaced all my laptops power bricks. I prefer compact chargers that can charge more than one device at the time. My USB c chargers are at least as good as the power brick, if not better. You just need to know what to buy, there is lots of rubbish out there.

Tempted to buy for a Lenovo L480 ThinkPad, but unfortunately it's not on the list of supported devices.

It will work fine. It only needs a 65w USB-C charger, but the 100w USB-C charger will be fine.

Have one from a previous purchase. These are great quality. Not just for laptops. They "rapid charge" my Pixel 7 Pro too.

Would this charge a legion pro 7?
  8. snappokerman888's avatar
would this charge the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro at max speed (67w)?
    GOODSTUFF's avatar
no. Xiaomi and other chinese branded phones like realme, Oneplus etc all have their own charging protocols.

this lenovo charger may do a limited fast charge but not at full 67w

As all the voltages / amps it provides is missing, can someone post a photo of the back of the charger zoomed in so we can see ?

Do you get the 3 pin plug ?

    Apparently so.

Is this not better and as safe ?

If you want portability and don't want that chunky brick. Plus you get more charging ports

What about charging a Legion Go....?
    Hassann's avatar
I use it to charge my ROG Ally and Legion Go with no issues. I plan on using the new one for the PS Portal (hopefully it'll work!)

Didn't get supplied this by my oracle IT guy so dock takes over 4 hours and an 'official' Dell one from an online auction is seemingly smaller than it should be

Spend your Lenovo loyalty points on this because they expire after 6 months and this will always be useful.

Will this be compatible with Dell Precision laptop? I used a 67W charger in a usb dock (non-dell) to power the dell. But the laptop said power is not sufficient so I have to use a separate Dell charger with a barrel plug. So will 100w be sufficient to drop the dell charger?
