I got 4 of these tyres fitted 18 months ago and they have all started cracking and degrading due to a rubbish quality rubber compound.

One of the tyre also was faulty as the rubber was far too thin so you could see the medal carcass (in-between the tread) so it failed an MOT with 7mm tread left.

I did a warranty claim via ATS Euro master who fitted the 4 tyres originally.

I had to purchase a new tyre at an inflated price to follow the warranty procedures ATS Euro master who have not refunded or updated me in the past 6 weeks. They also don't respond to you via their official complaints system in their website (2 weeks still waiting for a response).

I will attempt to resolve one more time before I start a charge back via the card provider I paid with.

The tyres drive really well, superb grip in damp conditions but the compound is poor quality as tyres should not be cracking after 18 months. In all honesty all tyre manufacturers seem to be using compounds that fail prematurely which I suspect is a way of increasing tyre sales.

Yes tyres seem poorer these days and they use the excuses of making them greener, more environmentally friendly, better noise, rain, more fuel efficient any old bull plop. I'm sure you're bang on...they want to sell more tyres. (edited)

Got 4 crossclimates 2 on my car from another ATS offer.
Word of advice, if you want the voucher make sure you get a receipt from the garage because if it's anything like the last offer email reciepts don't cut it.

Yes, agreed. Had same issue. They’d only accept a receipt from the ATS garage on letter headed paper. Fortunately went back to garage and they were very helpful and sorted me out

Excellent price. Got these on my X3 and will be purchasing next time round. Heat added.

Can anyone advise on how loud these are? I need new tyres on my Mazda but it suffers terribly with road noise in the cabin so I'm looking for a quieter set of tyres to see if that helps at all 🤞🏻

I've evaluated these crossclimate and primacy tyres, and went for primacy due to less noise.

Mind you, I'm London based, and do mostly slow city speeds (less than 40mph) so didn't need tyres that could deal with more wintry conditions.

These cross climates are awesome tyres and last a very long time. This offer is amazing. I normally go for 235 or 245 for my 8JX18" wheels on the bmw X3 and they come to £180 per tyrez so a slight decrease in width but a huge saving. HEAT!!

Mine only lasted 2 year 28k miles on front, tried to claim of michelin 50k miles waranty but was unsuccessful.
They are excelent tires can't argue with that just wished they last a bit longer for the price I paid.

52362968-wsrcN.jpgGood offer, but I prefer Nexen NBlue all season tyres myself having used Michelins before.
    Cheaper too usually!? (edited)

Excellent tyre. Handled really well on my Tesla Model 3 with the snow we experienced up here in the north east of Scotland.

These are rubbish, pick up nails and screws too easily.
    TokyoGhoul's avatar
You are correct. All the other brands don't do that 😁

This is a fantastic price for the size. £50 voucher makes it scorchio!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Why don't I ever see 225/45 R18 on offer ? It's always either 225/40 R18 or 225/45 R17.

Likely very few models. The /60 never comes up and is only on the Honda crv

Fantastic tyres...braking, handling and acceleration is so much better in cold conditions since I switched to these

My son needs this size for his new wheels but was going to buy the sport version of this tyre, would these be a better buy? I haven’t a clue!

good tyres for the winter months

Cracking price. The 19" are £400 for a pair

I know, they never go on offer. Best offer I got was £700 from KwikFit but that was 2 years ago and you had to buy a full set.

    Brilliant tyres though.

    Hi,

Anyone in the know who can advise if these or the hotukdeals.com/sha…567 are better value tyres. I appreciate they are different sizes but I need 225/45R17.

Also a local tyre garage has offered all 4 Dunlop Sport Maxx 2 tyres front aligned for £380 total. Is that a good price in comparison to these Michelin tyres?
  21. Bouksani's avatar
I've been waiting for this moment...
  22. twistedpixel's avatar
Never in 19" fantastic tyres though if you can't be bothered changing between summer and winters.
  23. danman10's avatar
If you add these to ATS basket its 489 with wheel balancing etc. Been looking at tyres for a while now and comparing these to Goodyear F1 asymmetric 6 which seem better in wet and dry and wear comfort, apart from ice and snow. Kwikfit quote with 10% off including wheel balancing and fitting £392
