There is no any confirmed test showing that this device goes up to 400 Mbps.
All available tests in the web show the maximum speeed of 150 Mbps of read and up to 80 Mbps of write.

Considering someone said there were no confirmed tests showing the claimed read speed was accurate, and it was only up to 150 Mbps that's not the case at all - I bought one of these at £12.99 last Friday, when my previous USB stick literally fell apart, and if it hadn't lived up to the claims I would have returned it.

CrystalDiskMark shows it doing over 400 MB/s sequential reads via my USB 3.2 Gen 2 port.

Note that the drive is entirely plastic, despite Amazon's description of the Black one saying all metal casing

up to 400 Mbps - in your wet dream LOL
It will never do more than ~150 Mbps of read and ~ 60-80 Mbps of write according to all tests I was able to find the the web. (edited)

Bought one of these at £12.99 the other day when my previous USB stick literally fell apart.

CrystalDiskMark shows it doing over 400 MB/s sequential reads that were claimed.

    Sponsored by Makita.

Reviews indicate the claimed Read/Write speed of 400MB/s may be wildly wrong.

Anyone know what the best read/write for the normal person is? at best something that can deal with photos and videos, not professional level.

Can't really answer that as it's down to how patient you are tbh for the price, just get this. Not much point saving a few £ on something a lot slower
