You cant knock the price it's got a nice looking face although im not keen on this style of Bezel. Would be interesting to see what it would look like if it had a black rubber strap.

IIRC, Amazon Japan requires a new account to be created, can't use the UK one unlike most other Amazon country specific sites.
    ebobandchris's avatar
Agreed . Once opened the accounts can be linked so that's what I did . Simples !

What's this normally in the UK for the hassle of Amazon Jpn ?
    tarasy's avatar
In my experience Amazon Japan is surprisngly hassle-free.

I've had stuff delivered less than a week after ordering, comes by courier too. Think it was DPD.

...and as usual wont ship to Northern Ireland.

This is time to wear a new generation smart watch not a old fashion heavy steel (edited)

38mm good for a small wrist?
    jonspurs's avatar
To me it's a no for small wrists, as it's 1cm thick. (edited)

11000 Yen now, so about £74 delivered for a Seiko watch is a great price
Anyone got an ETA for it?
    edgeone's avatar
A doubt you'll be able to squeeze a 7750 in

Anyone know if import duties apply?
Import duties, custom duties and other charges may be levied in the country of delivery for purchased items to be shipped overseas and the purchase may be required to pay such import fees.
    eurovnik's avatar
Provided the total value of the goods ordered is less then £135 excluding VAT then Amazon Japan will charge UK VAT at checkout and there will be no fees, import duty or VAT to pay.

Anybody know if this Seiko comes in a box etc ?
    Babur's avatar
Yes inside a huge amazon box which has a normal seiko box inside. Proper presentable standart seiko box manual book, pillow etc.

this site is awful. I do not need a new watch. I do NOT need a new watch. Every time I come on here I find a watch I want. And I keep bl**dy ordering them. Not this time. NOT this time.

    Argh. Ordered. Thanks OP.

Made a new account and added to basket before coming to my senses.  HUKD zombie mode.

    That’s really sweet.
Seems to be a black dial version of one Jody reviewed:

$100 Rolex probably keeps better time than most Rolex watches too

    What's so special about it?
    Lupus1462's avatar
Its from a very established brand with decades of herritage at a very good price.

Wow this model has been around for a while. I’ve had this exact watch for 25 years
    Astec's avatar
I got a very similar one around 15 years ago. It's had one battery since and is still running flawlessly and accurate.
  14. Pigsy.'s avatar
A few others there around the same price.

    Nice one, heat.

    Nice watch
  17. alijoezac's avatar
Seems to jump back to 12,000 Yen when you check out
    eurovnik's avatar
That's probably because the price shown in the listing includes Japanese VAT which is 10% and when you check out it's recalculated at 20% UK VAT.

I ordered mine on Saturday evening (UK), arrived from Japan on the following Wednesday via DHL, very fast. Nice watch overall, only down side is the bracelet which is very light and almost look cheap making noise when the watch move around the wrist. 52634030-U47Tq.jpg

Would get if it had a plain bezel. Reminds me of the Pulsar RAF gen 1 watches
    Paradroid888's avatar
I quite like the bezel. But you're totally right it's similar to the Pulsar, and the Seiko gen 2.

Ah - rather than the markings on the bezel do you mean you'd prefer it matte rather than polished? I agree there. It's a bit too shiny.

Nice watch though, looks great on straps. (edited)
  23. zackkr's avatar
Works out at £81.62 for me unless I'm being thick?
    dave_yes's avatar
including the delivery? Sounds about right.
  24. Rick75's avatar
Ive had this watch and not impressed, thought it looked like a Sekonda TBH,just get a Seiko 5 sports, they are cheap enough and look great.
  25. Babur's avatar
🇨🇳I bought it, but I'm not happy. Please stop adding Chinese-produced items from Japanese🇯🇵 brands as deals. Everyone here is discussing their father's genuine Seiko. I assumed this would be similar, but the strap is very very loose and feels cheap. Considering the price, it's not a bargain; I expect better quality for my money. I don't want to spend extra money on a new strap for these, so I'll just gift it. (edited)
    zackkr's avatar
So your just gift a £65 quid watch rather than buy a strap you like to save money 🙃
