Stayed here at the start of June last year in a Bronze caravan that turned out to be really clean, comfortable and only about a year old.

The site itself is massive, it's right next to the beach (as quite a few in this area are) and was great to use as a base for visiting a few places nearby - BridgeStones of Potter Heigham deserves a mention for all the lovely cakes they had.

I was going to do that too (use it as a base, cheaper than a lot of hotels or b&b) to visit York, Scarborough and surrounding areas.

Just back from Reighton Sands - £49 midweek deal. Got upgraded to a ?silver caravan with central heating / double glazing and 42" TV. Site was massive, but no complaints really. Cheaper than pitching our caravan in a muddy field!

Same, just got back yesterday, we got upgraded, gratis, too.

Absolute bargain… until you add dogs and the price more than doubles.

Just came back from there, great site, nice and clean caravan, right on the coast and nice (but very windy) beach. Great entertainment and pool! 20min from Horsey Gap for seal watching

In January I booked Wild Duck Monday to Friday end of April for the same price as this offer, went to Wild Duck last year and it is definitely on of Havens nicest sites.

Wasn't this already posted? I've booked at Hopton for Easter after seeing the post on HUKD. Nice to see some good prices over the school holidays :-)

    What's caister like as a town ?
I'm just worried it's next to Yarmouth, not a snob but it's a hole.
    deanos's avatar
Nothing really at Caister it's a village, It's a good base for traveling to other places like Yarmouth, Cromer, Southwold etc

If you do stay the Smokehouse is only a mile down the road and definitely worth a visit, BOGOF on burgers and got dogs Mon to Fri , some.of the best ribs etc
