Prices go up because the cheap(Inside) cabins get sold out, the starting price is now for a better ocean view cabin

Price has gone up since I posted. Not sure about the vouchers, another post refers, need to follow those instructions. Parking is £10 a day but obviously separate to the deal. I've booked a Fjords cruise and paid £40 for 2 weeks with Justpark.

I can't find this price but found cheapest Baltics as £1066 pp....then it's an add-on of £150 for parking car 15 days at port (mad) Also...can't see any £110 or £130 Amazon Voucher it me???

A booze cruise full of geordies!

I don't think people understand the value of cruises. sailing to some places that are not cheap to stay. This is 14night for £873pp or £125 per night for a couple For that £125 you are getting a room as much food as you can eat(not just 3 meals but your snack in between) and an open bar with some entertainment(fairly good on Marella) thrown in. Along with the transport to the various places while you sleep. You would be lucky to get a room breakfast and a dinner for that using a B&B/hotel ( OK at a spoons on a Sunday £85 with the 3 main meals and 4 drinks )

See you there, you got it cheaper than me you can buy me a drink........oh hang on they're all included! Just my luck! I'm sure you will enjoy, the reviews of the Marella Discovery look pretty good and at less then £70 a night with all food, drink and stunniing views of the fjords even if it's average it's great value!

Bad news, unfortunately had to cancel :( . Mrs went from being really happy last night to not sleeping and getting really anxious and tearful today about sailing. She wanted to do it as it was for my 50th but I couldn't let her get like this, there's another 49 days to go! Fortunately it looks like I get all my money back, couldn't risk leaving it until the last minute and losing most if not all of it if she couldn't sail. Oh well, maybe another time.

I am sure you will have a great time. we took up cruising about 7 years ago and been to a whole lot of places since, it's a great way of visting countries you may never think of going to.

Booked - cheers OP. Managed to talk the mrs into going on our first cruise, fingers crossed! :D

couldnt agrree more. its only when things go wrong you realise how ignorant and evasive they are.

You're just plain wrong about the food and drink, there's no problem at all. I believe P&O might have restrictions on their Hull routes but DFDS certainly don't on this one. We paid £104.50 booking directly for four of us with sea-view cabin and transfers to Amsterdam. Amazing value. The kids absolutely loved being on the boat so it wouldn't have mattered if we'd only had time for lunch in Amsterdam, as long as we knew that in advance, as it was all about the trip for us. My point is that dismissing this offer is unfair as it's excellent for some people, as with most things. And it was irritating to see the "bobbing about in the North Sea isn't a cruise" comment repeated again to because someone thinks it sounds clever.

When we went they were selling 6x500ml water on the boat for 10 euro. Equivalent cost of the Costco water would be about 50p! Don't forget to take your own. Amber leaf 10x50g was about £90 200 L&B was about £70.

What you’ve compared this to is not what’s offered though is it? You stayed an extra night, how much extra was that? Agree with all the comments you get next to no time in the dam, and from past experience they search your bags before getting on cause they don’t like you taking your own food n drink in!

When we went on the p&o hull mini cruise deal, we stayed for an extra night. Well worth it. The p&o offer usually runs during autumn and spring.

It's £12 per 24 hours so only £24

Yes you're an arse. Where did I say I demand anything? Where did I mention anything about hero or not? Clearly you didn't read my whole post then regarding students.

You are a credit to the forces, demanding free discounts for your hero status. Wear your uniform round Tesco's as well do you? (Given for the good and benefit...oh that old chestnut chortle chortle.) Also, given a few of my friends are student nurses at University, literally providing life giving care in placements in the NHS your comments about students are not only misinformed, they are embarassing for you. I also see you refuse to accept how incentives work so I think we are done here.

So you think students who haven't given anything for the good and benefit (not saying that none of them have but guarantee the vast majority haven't)of the country deserve discounts more than the military? As for the subsidised food, well that all depends on when you served. Its shite now and has been since PAYD came in. Accom may have been subsidised but again the standard (block or patch) is shite. Not everyone serves in Germany so that's not a perk to every forces personnel (but it is a discount, or did you miss that?) So part of your job was to maintain fitness and you chinned sports afternoons off? More fool you. Fridays, no argument. Snowboarding (AT) and hiking develops qualities that the military (were) "are" looking for plus ties in with the above para. If you don't think you deserve a discount over a student then fine.

Why is it obvious? I served 10 years in the Army and I got paid including subsidised meals and masively discounted housing. I also got tax free vehicles abroad, early finish on Weds and Fri's and went all over the world snowboarding and hiking on the taxpayer's money. Why do I deserve a discount in a shop? Students get discounts to attract them, not reward them for being students. They have limited income and brands are fighting over it.

Not really. Completely valid. All inclusive drinkers are a nightmare in most resorts.

sorry not sure, I started of with sea life attraction, which i now can't alter but the other 5 can be altered, can you select another attraction to start with?? they may have grouped those 2 attractions together as a 1st choice so that would possibly mean that you can't change the times on either the eye or cruise

Sorry, I've not used the deal but others seem to have found it straight forward, maybe they can help. I should imagine you're doing it right tho.

it wants me to confirm two times, one for eye and one for boat cruise.. am i doing something wrong? :/

We did Shrek with our 2 y/o last year, she was fine. IMO if anything they tend to be more fearless at that age. Wouldn't have done Dungeons with her though.

Already booked this cruise with another travel agent at a cheaper price and got a great deal on a suite. Love MSC, but have cruises 30+ with several different lines and have never had a bad cruise but some are better than others!

Well all I can tell you is I have sailed with them twice...never again. Customer service is none existent. 2nd rate cruise company, that's why they are cheaper. I go on many cruises, just saying my experience has not been good at all.

I’ve been in this ferry in November with a toddler for a Saturday trip. For kids there is a ball pit, painting, card games also someone from staff. She gave a soft toy to take home. My experience was good and we enjoyed every bit in Amsterdam and ferry. I heard going on Friday night is not a good idea for families with young children.

Try looking at their customer service, it's terrible. Look on Facebook for. Tui nightmares,, and see how they treat customers when things go wrong .

Yeah, it goes to "page not found" so price is very misleading. You presumably only get this price for two but it doesn't say that at all in OP.

Try booking for one person, like I did, and see what happens. :(

Have to agree - do a bit of net research on where is good to go, walk 100m off the ship and grab a local cabbie. On the majority of the islands they will hang around all day for you for not much money. Far better this than an overpriced TUI organised tour

Load of old cobblers, they just increase the cost of the first cruise. Most cruises cost an average of £100 per night no matter which company you go for

I'd be interested in something like this, never cruised before so unsure which cabins best, then realised its 2 sharing, but thought I'd ring them anyway, started dialling, then saw not until 2019 (mad) Thanks anyway. (y)

so they were charging £458 per person for 3 nights scilly isles & Cobh ? Absolute rip off imo (shock)

My idea of hell - travelling 40 odd hours for 2 hours there - crazy!

Perhaps because your car was there? (skeptical)

We did this in October, was fine sailing out, coming back we had level 8 gail force winds, i felt awful. Personally you dont get long enouigh in amsterdam.

Flights can be had for around £100 return pp though. To be honest, if you're going from Newcastle, you'd be best looking at going somewhere further afield that requires a change in Amsterdam and have a long 8 or so hour layover. You have the same amount of time in Amsterdam then. They should really do a one night stay in Amsterdam as well as the 2 nights on the boat, an extra £30-40 and it'd be so much better and worth it.

Crosley Cruiser Turntable £20 @ Tesco - Cradley Heath
LocalLocalFound 24th Nov 2017Found 24th Nov 2017
Found in Tesco, Cradley Heath.

We spent £60 on the GPO Empire turntable from argos. It sounded like absolute sh** (very muffled, no bass, no stereo separation) and I can't imagine this will be much better for a third of the price. Anyway we returned the GPO and bought the Audio Technica LP60 (the one with the speakers) for £140. A lot more money, but it had something approaching a basic hi-fi sound - clear, balanced sound.

No, was standard price

So is it yellow sticker or not?

Hi Hopefully this post is allowed - new here! Thanks for posting the deal and apologies that the port is mapped incorrectly - you won't zip up to Alaska but instead spend the day in Kingstown St. Vincent. When availability is very limited sometimes our site will not allow a booking to be made online. We've had loads of calls and there is now only 1 cabin left on the ship - you'd need to speak to my colleagues on the freephone number to get it booked. If you'd like us to do the flights for you, we can of course do so (and give you ATOL) but if you can go quickly, as boro4mesaid, it's a bit of a bargain! MG - Cruise Circle

Yes, cruise only for £259pp and now you cannot book online. You could earlier. The cruise is £279pp on Msc cruise site itself where you can still book online.

It apparently goes to Alaska for 1 day in the middle of the Caribbean cruise!

Clicked through, cruise only no flights, cannot book online have to fill in an enquiry form, is this correct?

Thats a vast improvement on our wait time of about 2 hours, so somethings definitely changed. I just remember utter chaos, walking past a massive queue consisting of people from our ba flight and other flights, to find someone who could tell us where to go. We got directed to an area where you firstly completed a security check by yourself, then we had to go through a manned passport control. Good thing was getting a cab immediately as we were one of the first out. We got to our Miami beach hotel about 6 or 7pm, while others from our flight finally walked in about 10pm, which may have had something to do with security staff dropping like flies due to it being a particularly busy Saturday!

Guaranteed inside cabin?? Makes it sound like its an upgrade.... from what lol

We just came back from Miami yesterday after a cruise. I would agree that Miami airport has been a pain in the past but this time we went from plane landing on the runway to in our hotel room in downtown Miami in less than an hour. We used the automatic passport control gates at the airport and went straight through. We saw so many passengers from our BA flight not realising you can use the gates and going to line up at the immigration desks which take ages. We were really impressed especially after the normal 2/3 hour waits of the past. Regarding the Trans Atlantic cruises... We have done 2 of these and treat them the same as we do a resort based beach holiday. Lots of time to relax with a good book etc. Just remember that when doing a west to east crossing you will lose an hour on some of the days with the different time zones you cross. On both our cruises (also with Royal) they made the time change at noon so it didn't affect you too much.

I am glad it is not from Southampton to New York!
