10 day cruise on Princess cruise Crown Princess in the Caribbean 4th Feb £1139pp @ cruise118
Found 30th NovFound 30th Nov
A great deal including hotel and flight traveling to Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts. Worth a look

Isn't Princess the cruise line where the husband recently threw his wife off the top deck and she splattered all over deck 7? I would stick to RCI for a better chance of survival.

A good price especially with the flights. Another $135 for automatic gratuities. Nice itinerary but Princess, especially out of Florida, seem to attract quite an aged crowd. Nothing wrong with that but means its probably not the best for families.

Any tips on getting to Hull from London without a car? Also I can't seem to get this deal working, 2 foot passengers, Sunday, to Amsterdam, 1 cabin, but it's not working at all.

December? Nah you're alright..

Nothing from dover. Sigh

There is no yellow for me (mobile), but did click mini cruises. Tried a few dates in December and they're all over £100 - didn't accept code either.

make sure you are clicking the minicruise button at the top of the yellow banner first. from thier website it says sunday-thursday sailings between 6th nov until 28th dec.

Yes its transatlantic so that's where you tend to have additional sea days, I've done a Caribbean one before but took a flight to and from Puerto Rico so like you say it reduces it. Price wise, if it was any other time of year than Xmas and New year I'd be saying it isn't competitive but for those that want a Xmas and New Year break it's good value at this specific time. I couldn't check this price with Cruise Circle as it was just saying enquire. That said, if my memory is correct last year I'm sure a very similar trip was around £800pp which was a bargain. Edit, yep it reduced to £756pp last year at the lowest...

ice cold from me im afraid, im not sure what you class as "not too many days at sea" but I count 11 sea days on a 25 night cruise itinerary which is awful. we did a cruise in the Caribbean 2 year ago and only had 1 sea day in 15 days so no need for all these days stuck inside staring at the walls. This is a transatlantic crossing in december as well which will be pretty awful until you hit day 9 or so. also price wise its not very competitive, check out cruise circle for some better ones, admittedly the below are cruise only but same length cruises for a fraction of the price cruise circle

You need to get over it. Champion the waterways!

Only the glam chubby chavs could ruin canal boating. What was once the reserve of those that enjoyed peace, quiet nature and the outdoors will now be ruined by the glam chubby, loud mouthed chavs supping 'fizz' and wallowing in the nostalgic over tones of 'afternoon tea' all in the vain of the latest, experience fashion.

This is also available on groupon - and with a few discount codes floating around, I paid slightly less, but this was a month or so ago. Looks fab for the price anyway. Heat from me!

I work in Lathom so will give this a bash, thanks

This gty gives a min of Standard inside cabins which are 2 lower berths This is the image on C&M site. Seriously cheap deal for an OK more traditional budget ship. Drinks are reasonable and the included food more than adequate so as not to go hungry. Still quite a few cabins left this could get cheaper. Service charge an drinks packages are reasonable but 33 days they add up.

Hardly. All the food you can eat is included and the only reason for paying more is if you choose to eat in one of the chargeable eating places.

So it's not all you can eat free living experience of aifetime rather a locked in nightmare?

Great price, however Insurance companies require an upgrade on cruises over 30 days (that's with an annual insurance).

The price you save on the cruise we made up in the prices of the drinks and the food

Mini cruise from Newcastle to Amsterdam £30 with DFDS Seaways
Found 12th OctFound 12th Oct
Price based on 2 people sharing, return. Selected departures until 29 Dec. Book by 14 Dec.

Takes about 18 hours to get there, you take a 2 hour coach ride to amsterdam, you get about 4-5 if your lucky on motorway traffic. Food on the ship is about 39-50 pp each meal

You sleep on the ferry 2 nights and I love Amsterdam so I'm going to call it a cruise :-) Wouldn't thank you for a trip on one of the big cruise ships that travel round ruining small island economies with a load of people who think they have made it because they spent £8k on a holiday lol

A long ferry crossing is now marketed as a mini cruise? Can I interest you in tickets to the London M25 slow car parade? Perhaps the Heathrow cavity check? Free background checks included and the opportunity to upgrade to the intensive conversation package. Or maybe my patented wallet weight loss plan? How secure is your internet banking? We can test it!

We used out Tesco pints in the sumer for a 24hr pass, it was great fun and the waterman are hilarious.

Just did this a week last Monday. Highly recomended the "watermen" as they call themselves, do talks with lots of humour. We used our railyway tickets and got two all day (24hr) City Cruises passes for a two for one i.e. half price at £18.75 total. These look even better value for a 72hr pass. Heat added.

love these MyVegas Deals - have used a few over the last few years. Currently building up my gold coins for next year's trip. :)

Hey guys does this include Royal Charm Slots as well?

For us it is but each to there own. I enjoy playing it so it's not an effort. I'm not obsessed with gaining gold but treat it as a bonus. Last time we went to Vegas we had 2 free entries to the secret garden at the Mirage, a couple of free buffets, $50 free food voucher and some free play in the Casinos. Not been for a couple of years but am at almost 1 million gold and my other half is not far behind so next trip we will get free rooms for maybe 4 nights at Bellagio, some free food and more free play. It's a shame it's only MGM properties as we love Venetian / Palazzo but free is free!

Is this worth the time you put into it? How much gold do you earn a day for example?

English just a heads up, you can get the same heli trip for around £350, with this reward it's just $100 off the full retail price so works out more than just buying a flight cash! Be wiser to use your gold on a different reward and just pay for your Grand Canyon flight.

Even with an amicable discussion (amazingly nobody has insulted anyone, as is usually the case) the comments made by some people are very loaded and typify what is wrong with the tipping culture. A reasonable argument is spoiled by comments such as: "If you want to be a Scrooge . . . . ", ". . . if you want to be as mean as that. . ." and so on. What you are doing is telling people they are wrong in a round about way and dismissing their opinion according to your own standards. I have become very aware of a backlash against tipping particularly in poor countries, where a single tip can amount to more than a week's wages. This skews the local economy and puts unfair pressure on those who do not do the type of job where tipping is common, and creates a situation where everyone wants to do this type of job rather than do a real job (i.e. a necessary one). Then there is the problem I hear more and more about customers on all-inclusive holidays being snubbed by bar staff who don't hand them a tip on every drink serving despite the fact that no money should be changing hands. In reality, most countries I have visited never initially had a tipping culture but thanks to our friends from the USA, it has been introduced to them, and it goes through the stage of acceptable-encouraged-compulsory-bullying. Despite the best interests of those who say tipping is a personal thing, it just doesn't work like that, and there are enough greedy and hard faced people around who will make people uncomfortable for those who do not hand over extra cash. I appreciate this is a topic about cruises, and that's where the problem lies, because if I am on land and I don't want to tip, then I can go elsewhere, but on a cruise I don't have a choice. Yes, I can opt of of the 'compulsory' tipping if I want, but then we hear of incidents of the list of opt-outers posted on the staff notice board to give a free for all to give problems to those customers. I'm not saying this is the norm, but I really don't want to take the risk that this may happen on my expensive holiday. If the correct price for the trip was charged in the first place, all these problems would go away. As far as I am concerned I cannot be the guardian for the low paid staff. It is 100% the fault of their employers that they are low paid, but tipping gives employers carte blanche to continue the low pay culture . If they do their job well, they will be appreciated verbally, and that should be sufficient. I've even heard of people being expected to tip ship's officers and the captain in these extra charges. No way are they going to be poor.

Bring your own lifeboat.....

Rokjit £359

Spot on. No way we can change an industry. These workers are virtually always from poor countries and get paid a pittance.75P an hour. If you want to be a Scrooge dont go on Cruises. If you do go, dont treat these unfortunate staff as your skivvies.
