I used to make my Porridge with milk only, but now I've switched to 250ml water, 50ml milk, 50g oats, and I think it's just as good. I don't like it so much with just 100% water though.

Thought you guys would want to know!

I use around 45g (I have a small plastic cup for consistency) of jumbo organic oats, one of skimmed milk one of water a tablespoon of oatbran, and one teaspoon of flaxseed with bio cultures, leave overnight to soak, 3 minutes in a microwave and it's perfect for me.

That’s a different product - Smaller, chopped up oats. These are less processed, with a better bite. Good price that hasn’t been round for a while too!

Good oats, although I buy the Mornflake whole jumbo oats direct from them, 4x3kg for £16 with delivery.

Works out about £1.33 per kg. (edited)

Are these jumbo oats like Scott's old fashioned? Been on them for a while. Prefer the bigger oats

Good price considering that Morrisons "Savers" oats are 90p per kilo.

Organic oats are the only oats anybody should be buying, they aren't even that much more expensive so there's no excuses.

Healthy it may be but have has a lot of calories if having even a small bowl and adding milk?

It’s better to have more calories of healthy food than less of processed food.
