I'm a defender of Reloaded and Revolutions - but even I can't defend this, it's absolutely abject.
Even the writer hated it but they were forced to make it or lose the rights or something.
There is a hint at the beginning of the movie, the big neon sign that is written in French that Bug goes down says "Anderson's: For Those Who Love To Eat S**t" in English. (edited)
I wouldn't say it's terrible, but it is certainly strange. Ridiculously meta. If the fight choreography was as good as the others it would have been more memorable at least.
