I ultimately bought this one from Gym Master when I’d been looking around 2 years ago, as it has far bigger safeties. I had a pop up for 10% off for new customers, which brings it to around £100 delivered.

It depends on your needs, but if your plan is to go heavy, then I’d recommend something that might help if you fail. This would probably be fine for lighter weights though.

100% agree with this, this rack isn’t really designed for weightlifting at all unless doing absolutely light weights - its better to either find a used Olympic style one off gumtree/ebay or a new one off mirafit - i would always advocate for getting at least a half rack, the footprint isn’t that large or full power cage if you can afford it!

with no safeties youre risking yourself it aint worth it for chep argos tat

Watch some squat fail videos on YT before you decide whether you'd prefer a rack/cage with spotter bars. (edited)

I bought this back in December for the same price. Quality purchase, well worth the money

I used to have a full cage when squatting heavy, never fancied these styles as a safety net...
