    Got one of these the other day.
    It was about the size of a chimpanzees head.

    It tasted nothing like a chimpanzee though, which on reflection is probably a good thing.

    It was more like a bread with bits of fruit in it than a hot cross bun.

    It's good value at 99p. It's heavier than hot cross buns. Like already said it's more of bread with cinnamon and raisins than hot cross buns

    I absolutely love hot cross buns, traditional and many of the new types they keep coming out with. This is a real insult. It's a German fruit loaf.

    Its something a bit different I'll pop into Lidl tomorrow to try one. At least it's got a cross on it unlike handwringing apologist Iceland who I've read have a tick on their buns
