I've been watching this for a while waiting for a price drop, cheapest I've seen it.

This actually has the most available capacity of any of the 1TB cards which can come in especially useful if you're trying to get an "image" to fit on a card....

In the description, you wrote "This actually has the most available capacity of any of the 1TB cards".

Sorry, ignore my ignorance, but what do you mean by it has more capacity than other 1TB cards? Don't all 1TB cards have a capacity of 1TB? Isn't that a bit like saying "my 30cm ruler is longer than your 30cm ruler"?

I have two 1TB drives in my PC - one is 894GB and the other is 931GB. Strictly speaking they both should be 1,000GB, but the manufacturers all have their own definition of what 1TB means, usually it's some large multiple of MB, KB or even bytes which comes out at less than 1,000GB.

It all comes down to the available capacity and how the 1TB is calculated. The usable capacity on this one is higher than from other manufacturers, even I believe other SanDisk cards
It's not a huge amount but it's important when you're trying to write a 1TB image that has been created to the maximum possible size which will fail using other cards (from experience)
    I hope that helps
So in this case my 30cm ruler is longer than your 30cm ruler (because we cant all agree how long 30cm is) (edited)
