About this item
  • HIGHLY WATER REPELLANT – Creates a waterproof coating on a range of materials whilst still allowing the surface to breathe and any moisture vapour to evaporate, including brick, concrete, render, stone and pebble dashing, although is unsuitable for rubber, plastic or timber.
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE – Provides protection that lasts through deep penetration into the material and a durable matt finish that's transparent once dry.
  • SOLVENT-FREE FORMULA – It's water-based for easy clean up, contains no solvents, and is non-flammable.
  • EASY TO APPLY – Apply this milky-white liquid to clean, dry or damp surfaces using a roller, brush or low-pressure garden sprayer.
  • CAN BE APPLIED TO DAMP SURFACES – The water-based formula soaks into the material for long-lasting protection, making damp (not wet or submerged) surfaces acceptable.
  • TWO SIZES AVAILABLE – Choose from a 5-litre or 25-litre jerry can.

Repointed entire brickwork of a hugely leaking gable of my house last year and once all finished the builder and I used this stuff on the entire side. Sprayed it on with a pump spray and gave it two decent coats, the repairs have worked and this stuff just adds an extra layer of protection for the bricks. £13 is a decent price too as I was paying £20 for same stuff.

What's the difference between this stuff and the below. Apart from the price.

Used it in my bay window outside and I can see water beading off the bricks.

    Water is a solvent

It dissolves more substances than any other solvent.

I’ve got the thomsons water seal solvent based it works very well, also got the resin based patio/paving  and that’s good for inside bird baths ect
I’ve just cleaned up the laurel and hardy statue and used them on that looks class and stops mold ect

Does this actually work? The decorative bricks in my garden are starting to flake

I used it inside my part sunk concrete garage wall (sunken on neighbours side) some three years ago and not had any water leak in since, so for my use it has been excellent. (edited)

Could this be used around the rubbers of a car window. I have condensation in my car based on leaks

You probably need something like "Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure" (yes it sounds like I made it up but it's a real product!)
