    What exactly is this for?

    To measure gaps from what I remember. I had one passed down from my granddad and used it for measuring spark plugs, but I don't think they're really a common tool for the common person much anymore 🤷

    I use one to level my previous 3d printer, it's not really necessary for modern printers with self bed levelling, or you can just use the paper trick.

    Paper is better IMO as the texture helps. Self levelling with bed shape compensation so much better though

    Does anyone actually use feeler guages anymore? I have a set but then I own an old car because I work from home and do about 50 miles a week. Assuming that most people just send their cars to a mechanic and pay the bill
