I saw this on a price comparison site whilst looking for something else. I don't want to use the G-word because it might be them clearing out old stock and I don't know a great deal about Macs. From limited research it seems like you're stuck with the 256GB SSD, which seems inadequate for modern computing put perhaps fine for web browsing etc.

Just spoke to curry’s guys but they stopped it’s an error. Only one online order gone through it seems so they stopped it now

Do you reckon they will honour it? I clicked so fast annoyed at myself for trying to cashback on top haha!

Did you order one before post??? Currys trade in pay over £400 for it.

Curry's do this now and then. Not actually selling anything. Just want traffic to their website. Maybe to show potential buyers traffic is growing? Or maybe sales increase as it may remind people to buy from curry's. Who knows. But deal is non existent.
    Nilshah's avatar
Exactly, seems to be a sales trick to remind people that they sell that product range and the new model is available.

How are people coming across these deals when they don’t appear on the search on Currys? Just curious

you can’t checkout it says you’ve reached max amount, similar to other deals that seem too good to be true from Curry’s

Same old story, can't check out. Need to go in store and cross your fingers
    FreakStorm's avatar
Does that ever work? Playing your face in store?
  20. FunkyDomino's avatar
Did you actually try purchasing to see if there's stock? It could just say maximum amount reached when trying to checkout and never work.
  21. FreakStorm's avatar
Doesn't seem to allow me to purchase it. When I press to go to checkout an error pops up with maximum quantity of MacBooks reached with only one in my basket
