sorted by2. Citizens of several EU nations have been given 15 day visa free entry to China as an experiment in 2024. Unfortunately not UK citizens.
3. UK citizens however can use Transit without Visa if you're prepared to do a side trip somewhere in Asia, see the chatter I did in this recent thread
