Asteroids best 80's game ever, couldn't walk past an arcade without playing it.

It truly is, rather simple, but brilliant and effective.

Anyone got there’s yet? Mine are coming this Friday

Did it arrive OK? No issues?

So this only has one game? That's crazy. If it included all the best Atari games this would be a good novelty, but to set aside a large space for such a big unit which has only one game is bonkers. (edited)

See above pal, it’s got 14 games

Can you mod this to add additional games?

Still not convinced about the size of these, if they were full size I would buy one, but even with the riser they still look a bit on the small size, good price though, heat added!

Shouldn't be too difficult to make a DIY one to the correct size -

Paid 450 for this one about a year ago, monitor brightness was sky high, (I buy, mod, sell a lot of these) trackball was not very responsive either, eventually after 5 months got a new trackball, still here in the box and still waiting forbthe replacement monitor, no stock, so id say check it straight away, Game where i got mine was no help at all unless i dismantled the cabinet and boxed it up again, this i was not doing, so bargain price for thos one but check it over straight away etc

Very tempted. Is it best to buy this and mod with raspberry pi etc.... Or build one from scratch.. based on cost and quality?

    I’m hoping they’ll do a Paperboy one.

Just get a PS5 and play Centipede Recharged in 4k/120fps. All that graphical power just for arcade games

Not the same though as being in front of an arcade cabinet. It's a nostalgia thing. Had to be there to experience it.

Mine turned up but it has 2 dead pixels right in the middle of the screen - contacted A1U direct and they are sorting a replacement screen for me.

EDIT - turns out they are not dead pixels but tiny specks of dust. Removed the plexiglass and give it and the screen a good clean. All good.

My life would be complete if I can find a Defender Midway cab... (edited)
