    Why wouldn't they charge? Stock needs to be sent to the store if not there. You need a member of staff to find it, put it to one side. I would imagine there's limited space and reserved items need some type of organisation system. This costs time and money.

    Then thanks to the great British public and the sheer volume of gormless idiots, they're going to get a percentage who don't bother showing up, or show up weeks late. Wasting everyone's time and costing the business money. At 99p they're undercharging.

    Is it just me? It’s wild that so many places charge for C&C.

    I get if they charge like a £5 refundable c&c fee so those who order and don’t collect are penalised, but a flat figure every is just annoying…
