Great price, I have these tyres and highly recommend them.

Are these specially designed for use in the snow, if so what is the point of having them in the UK for the occasional day? or are they just normal tyres? (edited)

I have the same question. Everybody raves about these but we have the odd day of snow here or there. And the performance in rain seems to be worse than the Michelin PS4 according to Michelin's own ratings.

    I don't understand 🤷‍♂️

Thanks bought the cross climates for my van. 225/65/16. Just under £700 cheapest I could see though and hopefully get the £50 MS voucher.
They have the 3peak logo so will be legal if I decide to go up the Alps.

Not just the alps, many eu areas now require 3pms tyres from Oct to April. The cross climates are just so expensive, and for me, dissapointing wear. Fitted some Falken Van11 tyres this year, so will see how they go.

    Great tyres
Had Bridgestone Turanza on my Audi, put Cross Climates on, what a difference
You can feel the tyre bite into the snow they have great grip

I bought x4 brand new tyres from Costco of the cross climate 2’s.
after 4 months one of the tyres blew out as I was merging onto the motorway see the image attached, funnily enough I was on the way to Costco and showed it to them and they’ve refused to replace it as the damage was this bad also Michelin ignored any emails I sent. Also note that they start browning on the outer edges so a tyre shine with uv protection is needed.

52509118-9QM5w.jpgI wonder how these CCs would compare to trh primacy 4. Agreed these are summer tyres which seem to the default setting for most UK ones but has an A rating for efficiency and grip. Wonder if that makes much difference when compared to the CCs
