Cheapest for this size anywhere now that Costco are doing the £60 off for four.

Even better is you can goto offer.michelin.co.uk/pim…-uk use code PIM4MH. Then get another £40 back on a set off 4 in this size offer on all this year. I have done this before they are a little slow but you will get it back. Brings the cost down to £68.59 each corner including balancing disposal etc.

For me, this is the best tyre to be on in the UK. Under 9C (which is most of the time), summer tyres need to warm up until they are safe. These are excellent from a cold start, can handle the occasional snow and are not bad in the heat.

They are good (I'm running them on my car atm) but I think with the crossclimate 2's, they pushed the balance more to snow at the expense of wet handling/braking. The cross climate 1st gen is more suited to the UK (especially in the south) as we get very little slow.
It's something Tyre reviews mentions as a possible negative and they even put it 4th in their tests.
I'm happy with the tyres on my car but if getting new tyres now I would probably go for Bridgestone Turanza All seasons 6.

I've had theses tyres on my Octavia estate and thought we were good in the snow. Question... If I have 4 of these on my car and a year later need a new tyre (say it's a non repairable puncture), do I have to get another Cross Climate or can you mix n match with a 'normal' tyre? I know it won't be as good in the winter etc. but was wondering if this was even possible. As from experience when I needed a new tyre it's a bit of a faff waiting as there is usually a demand for tyres at Costco, so it usually takes me at least 2 hours waiting time, if they can fit you in at all. I did use tyres on the drive last week for my wife's Toyota and was very impressed with the service and 100% hassle free, fitted at my workplace.

It used to be illegal to mix cross ply & radial on the same axle, if that is still a thing in 2024 & if using XL tyres they must all be XL (according to my insurance company)

But other than that you can use what you want, so long as they are the same size, although most people change tyres in pairs or all four for various reasons. On some 4x4s it is definitely a must to change both tyres on the same axle as it can cause major issues with the differential. (edited)

Wow. Sadly no Costco in Northern Ireland.

I have fitted these tyres to my wife's and daughter's cars. They are truly amazing.

Capable of doing a track day in summer, as good as most winter tyres on snow and ice. No compromise anywhere.
If you need tyres soon and can afford these.... go for it!

Doesn't matter on speed or load rating, just the cheapest fitted. thanks

The code for Michelin cashback doesn't working. Has anybody else tried?
    Katro16's avatar
Agreed, PIM4MH or PIM4UK is not working

Bought 4 Cross Climate 2s on the 27th and used the PIM4MH code through Michelin and £50 cashback showing for me.

The terms say can't be used with any other offer and Costco receipt shows an offer discount, but worth a try I suppose 🤞

    Thanks OP (edited)
