    Don't pay for transfers, very close to airport so taxi is cheap. Very very quite resort, great if that's your thing. Also this place is up a long steep hill, nowhere near the beach.

    Yeah, I did Google map it..18 minutes walk from beach I think. Not ideal. Good info on the taxi

    Stayed at this accommodation years ago and it was a hole then. Have a look at Trip Advisor as it would appear things haven’t improved.

    Yeah...3/5 TripAdvisor. Normally I'd go for a 4 or 4.5 out of 5 but nothing around at anywhere near this price.

    I've stayed and its a great resort ( caletta de fuste,) loads of good bars and restaurants and entertainment. Yes it's a good walk up from the beach but good excersise I think as no rush to get about if your on holiday. Basic accommodation but if you can get in the complex that is called the lake rather than the park much nicer. The pool is lovely. 5 mins to Molly's Irish bar which is fab, nice Chinese and Indian in that complex and a sports bar called Zanzibar which is fab and does a good pizza. Down town 20 mins pierros has free entertainment nightly, Lin's is nice to eat, fun in the sun does a great Sunday lunch and English food nearer the beach . The beach has had a makeover and is vast it's windy at times but a lovely place all round. If you want a cheap holiday I'd say go clean but basic. Self catering option as eating out is great value, great price as 170 cheaper going s/c (edited)

    Went here many many years ago and still feel cold every time I hear the name. That pool was so cold!
