    Is MSI Pro MP2412 not a better choice? Same price but with display port

    the MSI also has a max brightness of 300nits whereas this acer aopen has 250nits. (edited)

    Yes it's fine, but if you're planning on upgrading to a PS5 later on just keep in mind that you'll need a "different monitor" with a higher refresh rate and no lower than HDMI 2.0 to take advantage of the PS5's 120fps gaming

    tbh monitors have awful speakers. Even the significantly more expensive ones.

    Its always recommended to have separate speakers or headphones for decent sound
