ChromeOS Flex is also an option for an old laptop, works very well.

Really like this CPU in my Duet 5. Good Octane score of 25k and outstanding battery life. Hot from me.

I was wondering why this didn't get more heat. I guess because of this:

8gb or 16gb ram should be the new minimum for Chromebook when ram is so cheap now compared to last year (edited)

Out of stock for delivery. Nearest Argos with stock for me is 180 miles away in Dumfries.

Was one in Dumbarton when I checked if any use to anyone, was going to reserve it as similar spec to my Asus c302 which stops getting updates next month but its well over 50 miles from me and think I might prefer to pay more for a higher spec anyway, for anyone near Dumbarton or Dumfries though it's a cracking deal. Wonderful budget machine, mine lasts easily 10-15 hours on a single charge, good quality build and a Full HD IPS glass touchscreen. Usual ChromeOS limitations nonwithstanding they're very nice and easy to use. (edited)

i am very impressed with this chromebook....its very fast for what i use it for, browsing, email and iptv/streaming app from around the world.
