Apparently this is basically a rebranded Ergotron LX so
seems a pretty good offer with the voucher

As crazy as it sounds, these Amazon Basics ones are on par with the Egotron ones in terms of build quality. Had both for a long time.

Same here, the Basics one even came with Ergotron instructions if I remember correctly.

i've got a 28" 4k monitor where the vesa mount is at the top of the screen rather than the middle. this means it's hard getting it on a similar height to my other 28" 4k screen (different make. samsung rather than the LG (i think) with the mount point at the top.

any suggestions of ways to sort this? i'm thinking a monitor arm with a higher reach, but open to suggestions and/or links to products that fit my need

Look into VESA height adjustment adapters. They're not expensive.

    Something like these maybe?

Also VESA extender plates are worth having a look too.

This person here has had good luck using the extension plates with I think the same problem you're having.

I got 1 of each. Amazon and egotron and it's the same. Parts are interchangeable because it's the same item just with an Amazon brand on it. It's worth the price

I need two of these but the discount only comes off one of them. If I buy just one will it let me buy another separately with the discount? Or is it a one time discount offer ? Don't want to buy one and then pay full price for a second one.

You can buy 2 separately and the code still works, just tried it.

I prefer the Invision Monitor arms, the clamps are better in my opinion.

In my situation I have a floating desk with no legs that I've secured to the wall with "L-Brackets", so because of this I can't move the desk back and forth like a normal desk. I only got a small gap from the back of the desk to the wall for cables to run through, and therefore the "Amazon basic monitor arm" was annoying to use because the back plate screws were in an annoying place, where as the "Invision arm" uses a screwless method making it more easier/versatile to use, so I can put the clamp in any tight place I like, without having to take the desk of the wall. Also I must say both clamp down well once they're clamped to the table they don't move, I just like the "Invision arm" due to it being more versatile but I think the "Amazon arm" handles more weight 11kg compared to 9kg from Invision, my screen is roughly around 4kg I believe so this wasn't an issue for me, so I also suggest seeing how much your monitor weighs.

50204721-r248U.jpg This is an image of how the Invision clamp works. Hope that helps

Does anyone have any recommendations for an arm for a dual monitor set up? Would it make sense to get two of these or would it be better to get a mount specifically for two monitors?
    Fixitbob's avatar
    Fixitbob
Personally I'd get 2 of these, they're more versatile with monitor sizes and positions. I use 2 of them, one with a 34in ultrawide and the other with a 27in 1440p monitor

Great deal - paid over £80 for mine a few months ago! Way better than some of the generic brand monitor arms which couldn't hold the weight of my ultrawide.

Ordered to hold a microscope. - I will have to buy an adapter to attach to the vesa but hopefully will be able to make it for £100 less than other websites / aliexpress

Thanks - have just bought this....wanted an arm that will allow me to use my existing monitor (desk-mounted), whilst I am using my exercise bike - this will hopefully allow me to move the monitor into position (may need to buy the height adjuster plates mentioned above - although I might just make some myself).

As mentioned by others this Amazon mount is equivalent to/the same as the Ergotron LX Desk Monitor Arm here: ergotron.com/en-…241

There's also a link to a compatibility checker on that page.

I have the LG 35” 35WN75C model and unsure if it would fit mine as it says up to 32”. If I was sure of it I would purchase but I’ll keep looking for one that specifically does up to 35”

the inch size is irrelevant and missleading. Weight is what matters.

This is a great deal. I bought mine at full price just 2 months ago. If your monitor stand is taking up way too much space on your desk and you're not sure about getting an arm, just go for it. This has freed up a huge chunk of space on my desk, AND is a lot more adjustable than any supplied monitor stand.

I got this recently but having issues adjusting the monitor bracket. Have adjusted with allen key to the left and tried with and without monitor to move bracket from upright position facing ceiling to horizontal but will not budge either way. Wondering if I got a duff one. TIA!

I bought this for a smaller 24” gaming monitor. Looks just like the ergotron so I expect it is per the comments here. If true, this is a steal as they look amazing and their build quality is in a league of its own.

I can say one flaw, but I’m fairly confident it’s because I’m pushing my ergotron beyond its spec.

I have an ergotron HX, or whatever the best one is (it cost around £250), for my main Dell D4919DW 49” display, unfortunately it is not strong enough to stay upright and sits lower than desired… I guess that’s just a weight limit and there is nothing I can do? (edited)

I got mine today, and I must say I'm not impressed. The quality is quite good for the discounted price, but I also have a Chinese Invision, and it's not much better to justify the price difference you'd pay for one under the Ergotron brand. Also my unit had the tilt adjustment screw stuck (because it wasn't introduced straight) so I've had to return it.

Question, would this be suitable for a glassed desk? Because mine is a 1cm tick glass as main holding part, and a drawer underneath but with V shape side and I don't think will fit

Not sure why this deal has been expired since it looks to be still available at the time I post this comment. The price has increased marginally to £46.94 after the 40% voucher is applied:
