Good for various workouts like muscle strengthening and they have the advantage of being easy to store.

They're also good for assisting you with various exercises too if you have trouble doing them. For example if you find it difficult to do pull ups you can make use of resistance bands to make that a bit easier so you can actually perform pullups and over time as your muscle strength increases you can start doing them without any assistance.

No shortage of youtube vids so worth checking out. (edited)

It's not a stupid question as such, just lacking in enough info to give more precise advice.

But tbh, you would most likely benefit from a set of resistance bands rather than just one, with this band being at the top end.

The reason for this is two-fold, firstly there are so many different exercises that can be done using various areas of the body that one size really doesn't fit all. For the larger muscle areas you will need greater resistance than for smaller and you should always work at a comfortable level. Secondly, so long as you exercise regularly you will find that you will need/want to increase the resistance as your strength improves until you reach the sweet spot of where you want to be.

I only used these once in the gym, helped a bit for me to do 6-8 pull ups (more of morale boost), I decided to just continue without these, and I can actually see the difference, now can do 3 full pull ups (almost), and do few sets as part of stretching so may be helpful for home gym or to build up.

Thanks OP ..if the resistance band really can replicate 27.2 kg of resistance then this is perfect for times I can't go to the gym for a prolonged period of time.
