Its 2023, Why don't manufacturers state the length in Metres? 6 Feet = 1.8M

they sell to other countries too 🤷🏾‍♂️. keeping a blanket description is great. hardly no one is tech illiterate these days, to figure out measurements via Google search.

wonderful cable. bought same one from their ebay outlet last month (since gone back to 12 quid). anybody that wants one can go for it. recommend.

edit: the one i bought on ebay was 60w. 10ft. 🙈 (my bad) (edited)

Just remember that it is out of spec for the higher USB speeds, including USB4. The description implies that it is USB 2.0 only in fact, and due to the length it isn't speced for USB 3.2 or above. (edited)

Is this 5A, how would I know?
    r9000's avatar
It claims to be 100W capable, which is 5A. If it gets warm abort charging.

When charging at 100W this cable will be carrying 5A at the USB C 20V step. What happens if you plug a 20V power supply into a 5V device, because the cable fits perfectly?

"You get way more bang for your buck with USB-C"

    Let's hope not literally. (edited)

It's called a switching PSU and it's not that advanced but given the low prices to buy the stuff I understand the worry about some of this Chinese made stuff.

Personally I prefer plugging my QC3 compatible phone into an old iPhone4 charger because slow charging is better for the battery.

It’s interesting to see nobody is crying about the speeds. Do they only do that on Apple posts?

I use this cable as my office backup to charge my MacBook , great cable works as intended and feels decent quality

Does 480Mbps transfer speed mean it's a USB 2 cable?
    Robdataff's avatar
    It does.

Charges my samsung s23 ultra at fast charge 2.0 with their 45w charger brick
    AG18's avatar
Just to clarify, it doesn't give you super fast charging?

Are these compatible with OnePlus supervooc chargers?
    Lakshmi_Narayana's avatar
I'm looking for the same answer before I cop one. OnePlus chargers notoriously work only with their own cables in some instances.

    Shouldn’t that be
‘must. Resist. Must. Resist. Apple will just change the plug end soon anyway ‘

Assume I can charge my dell laptop using this as long as the plug can supply the wattage too?

Perfect for anyone who's got sockets over the other side of the room -- like me!
