  • Your tasks, done faster. Built around the M2 chip, the redesigned 2022 MacBook Air has an improved CPU and GPU - 1.4x faster than the M1.
  • And that's all while using less power. You get up to 18 hours of battery life, so you won't be hunting for plug sockets.
  • That means it's a powerhouse for editing on the go - whether you're trimming down 4K footage or putting the final touches to an animation.
  • And it's all wrapped up in a super thin yet durable all-aluminium enclosure.

Good to know

- Chat to your friends in sharp Full HD with the upgraded 1080p FaceTime HD camera
- For complete colour accuracy when you're working on creative projects, the Liquid Retina display shows over a billion colours
- True Tone technology automatically adjusts the brightness and warmth of the screen, so you can read in comfort
- With improved vocal clarity and Spatial Audio support, the four-speaker sound system will add extra immersion to whatever you're watching
- Touch ID lets you unlock your Mac with your fingerprint, so you can keep your files safe and shop online with Apple Pay
- Connect everything you need (with speed) thanks to the two Thunderbolt 4 ports
- The MagSafe cable attaches magnetically for an easy connection when you need to recharge
- It's compatible with your most used apps, from Microsoft 365 to Zoom and loads of iPad and iPhone apps too
- The 256 GB SSD lets you load up your photos and apps almost instantly

Nice price, but only worth with 16GB. Looking for that one. This model shouldn't exist. (edited)

I’m happy with mine, so I’m glad it exists. If you’re not, just don’t buy it.

Just a warning the base model MacBook Air M2 256Gb has slower read/write speeds to the SSD. Apple switched from 2 x 128Gb to a 256Gb chip. They reversed this decision for the recently released M3. Won’t matter for common tasks, but worth knowing.

Really? Where did you read about m3 air having 2 * 128gb SSD?

I have a M1 MacBook Air 8GB ram and 512 SSD. Use it as my work laptop and it hasn’t missed a beat. Team calls to using big spreadsheets and Remote Desktop access. Not in the same category of editing videos etc. but I like the stability and no nonsense performance.

So tempted but with the changeover from M1/M2 to M2/M3, I’m being greedy and holding out for a better deal. Prices seem to be a bit all over the place at the moment and haven’t settled yet.

Hopeful of a £800 M2 but might end up waiting forever.

My 2015 MacBook Pro is still ticking along for now…

    Heat added though. (edited)

You’ll be amazed at the speed and efficiency increase from Apple Silicon. I have this MacBook Air albeit with 16GB memory and 512GB storage. It’s a screamer!

May have gone for this but not in midnight colour finger print magnet.
They do have a starlight one but it's 512gb and 1100 quid.

They fixed it with the M3

Ive clicked on the link to activate the ‘save’ button it’s not there for me. Just BLOOM10 which doesn’t work on this sale.
  9. jjjjj98765's avatar
Same for me. I recently saved £75 using the BLOOM10 code so maybe they aren’t offering it to me.
