    Thanks OP, seemed a good deal @ £1.30 ea on S&S. But have just cancelled - nearly 10% salt, I know I wouldn't get past one spoonful.

    Here is the nutrition chart for anyone else interested (c/o Tesco https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/275457113):

    I bought a jar of this a while back and whilst it would have been quite nice I was surprised at how incredibly salty it was. I wouldn't buy it again, hopefully there are some other alternatives out there that have a lower salt content.

    Try ‘mothers recipe’ brand if you find in some Asian stores. Amazon has it but expensive at the moment. (edited)

    You can't find the 500g Ashoka tumeric pickle in many places, it's very sharp. But hands down the best pickle me and the other have ever had. We have been buying it for 5-6 years since trying it for the first time. I remember the first time we had it thinking it was too much flavour but the juicy tumeric quickly became addictive.
