This is a good deal as you bought it used (you may have got lucky but on good grading you could have been unlucky).

How good is this for ps5 and xsx? I see Dolby is supported on xbox only?

Very good price for a great headset. I’ve had both gen 3 and gen 4 versions of this and the sound quality is fantastic, especially with the option to add custom EQs

Got these on Black Friday 2022 for £146 used very good. Love it. You can get dolby atmos enable on windows with a bit of tweaking (flipping to xbox mode etc). Only small niggle I have is that putting it down to charge in the docking station takes a precise placement for it to start charging. Other than that, it just works, use it on PC and xbox.

Brilliant headset for audio and comfort. The software and base station can be problematic. I once had a pair that required a firmware update out of the box, so I placed the headset on the base station. After the update completed, the headset was bricked. Nothing brought it to life again. I had to get a replacement. I tried the same with the second pair and thankfully that worked fine. I decided that I will never again upgrade the firmware or use the base station (as you can charge the headset with a usb cable directly). I've had these for about 3 years now and had not issue with them. Some software config quirks, but overall these have the best sound quality compared to about 8 different brands that I've tried.

its mostly useful for competitive gaming but if you have the money for it, might aswell get for just single player games. the sound w dolby atmos is crazy.

They're pretty nice to use most of the time, and this is a good price ........ but connection and battery problems are all too common with this model. Sometimes they'll just refuse to work out of nowhere, sometimes they'll insist the battery is at 0% when it's been charging all night. You end up in a cycle of hard reset, reload the firmware, whack the right earcup to reseat the battery, another hard reset, direct connect the headset to usb, do a blood sacrifice and maybe they then work. See the reddit group.

Minor miracle I haven't taken a hammer to mine by now, they can be very frustrating. (edited)

Bought these off Argos for £120 with family members Argos employee discount and some gift cards I have spare.

I have the SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless (had them since launch) and while I love them, the mic is awful. Makes work calls difficult and finally sick of it. Even though the A50s mic isn’t great, it’s at least better.

I really wish there was a great headset with and amazing mic with either a battery swap and doc like Steelseries or charging dock like A50s. I’d of got the A50x but with all the issues A50s have I’m not spending that amount.

Hopefully manufactures do more, as beyond SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless, A50/A50x and the new crappy Turtle Beach one. None have same battery / charging ease and I’m the type of person that always forgets to pull in a cable and hate wearing headsets wired.
