It is heat for me, however lenovo legion 5 gen 6 165Hz is even better for £879 (%10 discount + £200 cash back). Also, I’d prefer to get my laptop from official website instead of ebuyer.

I would say one is better. The AMD processor in the Lenovo beats this Intel by a mile. (edited)

8gb single channel RAM that is soldered to the motherboard. Single channel and only 8gb is going to really hold this system back and being soldered you don’t have the option of buying a matched dual channel kit. I’d walk away from this.

unless you want to do any calculations or other applications then the intel still beats the AMD from the benchmarks I have read - horses for courses here

You're reading the wrong benchmarks then because the AMD is way better. 8 cores vs 4 just for starters......

If you take a look at specific applications the AMD doesn’t win on all counts - not bothered about getting into it just saying horses for courses.

it’s not all about extra cores but hey just enjoy your AMD if that’s what you like man. (edited)

The Lenovo website is run by Digital River and the experiences of many on here leave a lot to be desired by Lenovo/Digital River when it comes to post-sales support and returns, etc. even compared to Ebuyer who aren't exactly renowned for being great at these things either. (edited)
