This Bauker jigsaw is a sturdy cordless tool ideal for cutting wood up to 80 mm and steel up to 8 mm. It has a two-speed gearbox and a variable speed motor with reverse function.

This jigsaw is powered by an 18 V lithium-ion battery with 1.5 Ah capacity. This type of battery is lighter than a comparable nickel-cadmium one, making the saw lightweight and comfortable to use. Lithium-ion batteries also last more than four times as long and hold more charge when stored.

This is an easy to operate jigsaw. You don't need to stop working to reset the speed, because you can control it smoothly by finger pressure on the trigger mechanism. Changing the blade is simple too – there's no need for a special tool and you can quickly get back to cutting.

This saw has an LED work light built in, so you can see what you're doing even in low-light conditions. With no trailing wire to get in the way, this is equipment that's easily manoeuvrable. The pack includes a battery charger and one wood blade so you can get to work straight away.

• Maximum cutting capacity of 80 mm in wood, or 8 mm in steel

• No-load speed of 0-400/min or 0-1450/min

• Stroke: 20mm, 0-2500 spm

• 18 + 1 torque settings

• Maximum torque of 30 Nm

• 10 mm keyless chuck

• Two-speed gearbox with smooth speed control via trigger

• Blade changes are quick and easy, with no tools needed

• Switch lock to prevent accidental operation

• Battery capacity indicator

• Rubber covering over moulded grip

• Includes battery charger and wood blade

Just got the jigsaw. It's an impressive piece of kit. Variable speed with the trigger, toolless blade swapping and the battery works with my Worx tools. Unfortunately the Worx battery doesn't work with this though as something is stopping it clicking into place but I can't quite see what!

If you look at the top of both batteries you'll notice the worx battery has extra raised strip on the top, I simply removed this with a craft knife to enable it to slide into position.

Me too but beware - bauker and WORX are NOT fully compatible! Lots of discussion on this on previous Bauker posts.

Whoa! Super hot deal. Thanks op. Was just looking at cordless jigsaws too around the £90 mark so this is a serious bargain. Happy days!

Oh and the cordless angle grinder comes with a 4.0Ah 18v battery for £40. Great bargain too.

Thanks for posting, just bought one and i'll stick the new battery and charger on ebay for about £20 as I already have a few Bauker and screwfix Titan batteries that'll fit this so hopefully it'll only cost me about £8 for the jigsaw.

Good price seeing as they are selling the battery for £14.99 on its own. (edited)

Yes and no! Lots of discussion on earlier Bauker posts and the incompatibility seems to vary by tool. I have a Bauker hedge trimmer and my WORX batteries will not fit but the Bauker batteries do fit my WORX tools (tried on a drill). I thought this would be a common issue across the two ranges but other posters report different working and non-working combinations. However there are fewer 'live' pin connections on Bauker batteries and chargers than WORX so there may be an electrical incompatibility too?

It's about time these Li-ion battery fittings were standardised (it will require legislation); EU are doing this sort of consumer-friendly stuff (eg phone charger cables) but post-Brexit Britain has decided to be awkward again. We're being ruled by monkeys!

Yes that should be more powerful, it depends on how much you use it really. The normal drill is quite versatile but might just take a little longer to drill through brick

Anyone point me towards T-type shank blades that fit this jigsaw?

The manual is of no use; only specifies T-type, not the size.
    Tried a T111C blade, doesn't fit - the shank is maybe a 2/10th of a mm wider.
I'm sure I could *make* it fit with a metal file... but why on Earth isn't stuff like this standard?!?

    *Edit*

Filed it down to fit....still, bloody stupid 👎 (edited)
