sorted byYou have to ensure the consistency of the paint is thin - then you need to ensure you practice spraying several times, you need to get the distance between your spray gun and the subject right and the speed at which you are moving the spray gun across/down your subject.
I used it for my fences before installing them - I still ended up having to use a brush on parts of the fence.
Would not recommend for interior walls or anything that requires a good finish.
Also - the nozzle needs regular cleaning between sprays or you'll soon get a massive blotch of paint instead of a spray which really messes up your paint work.

I must say, it all depends on the type of finished surfaces one wants to use this on and the quality of the finish.
If someone is just looking to paint fences or sheds then this will do the job and makes it less painful. (edited)
