    I've got one - I can't say I would recommend it.

You have to ensure the consistency of the paint is thin - then you need to ensure you practice spraying several times, you need to get the distance between your spray gun and the subject right and the speed at which you are moving the spray gun across/down your subject.

I used it for my fences before installing them - I still ended up having to use a brush on parts of the fence.

Would not recommend for interior walls or anything that requires a good finish.

Also - the nozzle needs regular cleaning between sprays or you'll soon get a massive blotch of paint instead of a spray which really messes up your paint work.

    2/5 Stars from me. (edited)

I agree with a lot of the points here. However once I got past the learning curve, the job was done so much faster and I had a lot of fun along the way. I painted a 5Mx3M shed. Practiced and got the adjustments the way I wanted on the back side of the shed and by the time I got to the sides and front it was going really well. I didn't find cleaning too difficult, much easier than cleaning brushes.
I must say, it all depends on the type of finished surfaces one wants to use this on and the quality of the finish.
If someone is just looking to paint fences or sheds then this will do the job and makes it less painful. (edited)

This reminds me of the old ISIS TV brand that had to be scrapped

This is better for spray painting old Tanks that you don't care much about.

I've gone for this without doing any real research. I've a fence and a couple of garages that need painting in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully this 'does what it says on the tin', or spray gun in this case.

It's very easy to get started, just make sure you read how to clean it properly else it'll clog fast
