BBQ Charcoal Starter - £7 delivered @ Millets

Always wanted one of these but could never justify the near £30 Weber ones sell for! Cheers for sharing 

These are the best things ever, although through trial and error over the years I would say don't bother stuffing it underneath with newspaper, it just seems to make a lot of smoke and doesn't light the charcoal that well. Instead stand the whole thing on a couple of bricks, place two firelighters directly underneath and the charcoal is guaranteed to light quickly and without burnt little bits of paper blowing about.

Weber ones will be better, longevity and functionally, mines 7 years old and lives outside. It's fine. Also has far more airflow given it has a wire base rather than stamped holes.

Personal choice ofc, but in my opinion the Weber is worth the extra. In fact if you don't mind spending a bit more I'd go for a proQ (edited)

I have the Weber version and its absolutely brilliant for getting your BBQ started. At this price what's to lose!
