I dunno if they have it this year, but Watford did it last year, so worth checking too..
Lol week early Black Friday is 27th not 20th.
OP, re date, do you mean this Friday or next Friday 27th? Thanks

no worries, some retailers are running early deals that's all, wanted to check updated Black Friday Thread Thanks!
All b&m stores are running the black friday 10% off but stores times vary. Best contacting local store for times.
Thanks OP.

Can anyone share their experiences from last year?
Tempted but can imagine it gets crazy busy.
could be some fights over dodgy Chinese made fairy lights this year.
I used to work for them - its not busy
Watch all the idiots steaming into the store and fighting over a packet of loo roll
Haven't seen much interesting or cheap in B&M for months so can't imagine it will be busy.
1p off some 10p crisps! Bargain

Quite an impressive comment you've made there. I have a pretty well paid … Quite an impressive comment you've made there. I have a pretty well paid job yet I still frequently shop in both B&M and Home bargains, so I'd welcome an additional 10% off, and I don't claim a single benefit.

Don't get me wrong, I shop in there too (mainly for the American food bits) but I was more targeting the ones who will be queuing first thing in the morning for £2 off some cheap perfume or, as someone already pointed out, dodgy Chinese lights.

Happy days, wonder if i should queue the night before. Id be saving 25p on five packs of biscuits?
No need to q outside as store will be open all day and 10% starts at 5pm friday.

SO WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE BENEFIT CLAIMANTS TO DO THAT ? YET ANOTHER AXXEWIPE
No one is going to be queuing outside seeing as sale starts at 5pm well after normal opening hours but keep on plugging that tired stereotype on benefit recipients like you know what you're talking about having read all about it in the daily mail

No and yes....
lol 10% off has **** all to do with Black Friday. It should be banned in the UK, they don't quite know what it means.
On a separate note, is Watford the only B&M store where the price labels are never in the same place as the products?!??!
That's a bit rubbish isn't it, hope other stores do better than 10%.

Yeah, a proper Black Friday deal (not that we should have them in this country) would see deep discounts on a selected range of products, usually where the retailer is trying to get rid of last few items.
This is just a standard "10% discount" offer.
Excellent, I go for all my air fresheners and cleaning products an extra 10% off is brilliant!
10% discount in a store where most items are under £5 id rather pay full price and not have to fight off crazy people looking to save 50p. Heat because some people might be in to this though.

Did your mum get child BENEFIT ? Then your mother is exactly the same a BENEFIT claimant
We have 3 B&Ms in Preston which one is it
Gotta love B and M. I don't claim benefits but I'll happily tell people that much of my house is courtesy of B and M. Some products look more expensive than they are. 10% is a little naff but at least it's something.

No she got Family Allowance, which is now known as Child Benefit.
However that is something that is GIVEN, not CLAIMED.... MASSIVE difference, and I know because I have 2 kids and there's not an option to opt out of it!

HA ha ha Admit defeat mr benefit claimant nothing to be ashamed of
Winter is coming !
Actually, you can't stop receiving child benefit!
The only way it can be stopped is by proving you earn over the £50k threshold, which I don't.
You cannot choose to stop receiving it as technically it is given to the child.
