    It's amazing given the inflation that you can still get a bottle of beer for a £1 isn't it! I remember going back years it was a quid then as well

    Not in scotland!. Minimum alcohol pricing has given companies an excuse to charge more than the minimum. You wont find a 500ml £1 bottle of beer in scotland even tho the legislation would allow for a 4% bottle at that price.
