The Bosch Aquatak 120 from other retailers for slightly more is far far better than this one because it has a 5m hose length not the 3m this one has.

With 3m you will constantly be picking up and moving the machine as you run out of hose.

Also 5m is still pretty short and many might opt to purchase an extension anyway.

Is this quite powerful? I’ve no clue but need a pressure washer

This is powerful enough for cleaning a car and for a small patio with the patio attachment (not included here, although you can clean patio without it but takes longer). I would be happy with this if that was around my budget as the best cheap one. If you have around £100-120 look for the Bosch 125 or 135 with free patio cleaner I think b and q had a deal maybe. Avoid at all costs the kartcher k2.

A word of advice to anybody using any pressure washer. Never let air enter the pump, it will probably damage or wreck the pump. I've learned the hard way!

When you're all connected up, squeeze the trigger BEFORE turning it on. Water will come out but at low pressure. Do this for a minute or so to eliminate any air locks in the hose.

Make sure the hosepipe isn't kinked. If it is the pump will be stressed as it won't be able to suck water from the hose.

In winter, beware of the hose being frozen. This too will stress the pump if no water can get through the hose.

    My car is always gleaming!

Are there any pressure washers that you don’t need a hose for that can connected straight to the outside tap? Or come with the necessary attachment to do so? As I don’t have a hose just the tap

Just buy a hose, cheap as chips.

Just tried mine out. Removes moss from tarmac and algae off fencing a treat. Nice and portable too.
I'll be trying it on nextdoors cat tomorrow, the filthy beast.

Tried ours a few weekends ago to clean our patio - did a fine job but seriously loud (heard our neighbours a few doors down applauding when I stopped!!!)

Haha yep I felt a bit guilty when using it as it's like a jet engine but needs must.

Corded pressure washer? What are we, cavemen? The absolute bare minimum I would even think of maybe possibly contemplating has to have a wireless connection between the base unit and the lance.

Can you adjust the pressure on this one? Need something for slabs and polycarbonate roof.

No, you can only adjust the nozzle fan angle to be less aggressive. (edited)

Tempting if I can’t fix my K2 karcher that has decided to blow water out the sides (suspect a split pipe inside )

a common problem - open the yellow covers (undo the 6 or 8 screws) and you will see a black plastic elbow connecting the pump to the hose. These usually crack. You remove it by twisting it 90 degrees. New ones from Amazon are about £15, and you are back in business.

I have this & cleans the green slippy stuff off slabs very well. It is noisier than I expected & I had to buy an extension lead but otherwise it’s good for £50.
