You can join in any of these ways:

Registering your B&Q Club card will allow you to access all the benefits of Club membership, including a £5 off when you spend £30 voucher when you first register. You'll also receive reward vouchers and digital receipts once you're registered. Just be sure to opt-in to receive marketing emails from the B&Q Club.

You can register your B&Q Club card online.
Enter your details and click submit. You’ll receive an email to confirm your registration.

What happens if I forget to bring my B&Q Club card to store ?
If you have a smart phone, you can use any B&Q Club email to present your membership number. Your membership number appears at the top of all your emails and again at the bottom, with a barcode that can be scanned.

Alternatively, if you have the B&Q app you can log into B&Q Club using your email address and postcode, and this will display your membership number. All our stores have WiFi to help you access your details.

Unfortunately, we're currently unable to add any purchases to your B&Q Club record after you've made them if you don't present your membership details at time of purchase.

    Looks like if you go to your account then personal details and click update without any change it works when you go back to the basket

    Agree. Screwfix and Toolstation generally cheaper and better quality

    Not always. Even Screwfix can be more expensive now, they know people will just assume.

    There’s a need for a DIY/ trade comparison site, where you enter what you’re looking for and the site finds the cheapest place to buy it. Sometimes B&Q might come out top, but not often. (edited)

    Can't understand why 10% off is considered good? I'm literally poor and think £18 instead of £20 is not a deal at all. Especially considering B and Q are super expensive.

    They’re part of the same company from what I understand but some stuff is cheaper in Screwfix from my experience, even though it’s exactly the same.

    I’d find some examples but I can’t be arsed tbh.

    I would be surprised if even after 10% aggregates would be as cheap as the local builder. Not in my area anyhow

    More like 20% more. Their gardening stuff is nearly double the price of Wilko

    has anyone tried it? I do not see any discount in my cart. Is there any voucher code because 10% not being applied on its own. I have clubcard linked to my account and I have checked it again. thanks ! (edited)

    Screwfix and B&Q owned by Kingfisher (holding company). Many of B&Qs products are available in Screwfix for lower prices. When I did my bathroom I bought most of the stuff from Screwfix.

    A) Not necessarily.

    B) Because of the convenience? People probably have a B&Q closer to them than a Screwfix, Toolstation etc. Being able to go into the store and actually look at the items can be very helpful, compared to others where it's all behind the counter in a warehouse.

    B&Q have gone downhill in the last few years, their prices have gone through the roof in that time too (if they have what you need). Always try Screwfix first, they're also a lot better at giving refunds if needed

    Screwfix is owned by B & Q. So quality is the same on there own brand stuff.
