About this deal

As per title. Breadmakers are pretty rare at the moment. Very few around and at inflated prices.

Very happy to find these in Lidl in Preston. Presume nationwide. Makes between 1000 to 1500g loaves. Other settings include dough, jam yoghurt, cake etc.

Nice machine. Bought two.

Selling on Amazon under the brand name Patioer for £241.

3 year warranty.

Sorry, had one of these and returned. Very difficult to get the loaf out and paddles always got stuck in the bread. It made good yoghurt though.

I've got the older twin paddle model. I usually leave the breadmaker running for a few minutes after it finishes, so that the keep hot feature shrinks the loaf slightly and I can shake and bang it on bread board to get if free. I also pour a drop of vegetable oil over the spindles before I add the other ingredients, which usually makes the paddles come off a bit more easily and keeps the other ingredients out of the plastic spindle bushes, and lubricates them as well. these are brilliant, i have one from mum and use it multiple times a week, its hard to find another one that does things this size! Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to pop into my local store to see if they have them and grab a backup if they do!

God how I wished they delivered (am housebound so can't go a store).

I have this exact one that I bought during lockdown (remember that?!) but I don't think i have ever successfully made a loaf of bread with it. Even when using the 'premade' bags of ingredients, it always used to come out undercooked inside and remind me more of sourdough than actual white bread for some reason.

1 cup water, 2 1/4 tablespoons oil, 2 1/4 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 cups white flour, 1 teaspoon yeast
    strictly in that order
will give a decent white loaf in most machines

Just heads up, may not be nationwide as my local didn’t have them

    Edit:

Tried 4 around Essex (out and about anyway) with no luck, various different bits in each store but no what want! Good deal if you can find it. (edited)

That's a shame. Plenty in the shops around here.

I bought mine during the lockdown and broke last year, but we did 1-2 loaf breads every week. The issue I had was one of the paddles getting stiff. I lubricated it several times but should have done it from the beginning. Will buy it again though if available in my local shop.
Removing the paddles before baking as mentioned by helps a lot.
I had a Panasonic before this and broke within a year after making no more than 10 loaf breads and costed more than double..

They do sell spare parts for some of their models customer-service.lidl.co.uk/Sel…ems

I'm on my second bread tin, think mine is an old kompernass model and the tin was about £15.

I've also had to replace the old toothed belts after one perished, but I got that from aliexpress. (edited)

52354159-3OIHZ.jpgSadly they're not in either of my locals (Richmond NY and Colburn). They are selling a unit made by Tower that I presume they have as an alternative but it's the type that makes a 'vertical' loaf. I've had a similar one in the past and never really like the shape of the bread it produced so I pass. Great if you can find the Silvercrest one and heat to the OP (edited)
