    These beers are fantastic

If you're used to the likes of Stella and Carling, and haven't tried decent craft beer, then I can see why you'd say that.

For those with more discerning palates, Brewdog started out as an exciting and innovative brewery. In the following years, they've dumbed down their original output, cheapened their brews with lower quality ingredients, and sold out their "punk" ethos by becoming exactly like the large brewcos they allegedly stand against.

Their beers are average, their marketing is a lie. Their customer service is abysmal. I'd much rather support a decent craft brewery such as Northern Monk, Wylam, or Polly's Brew Co.

Full disclosure: I still buy the odd 4 pack of Punk or Elvis juice as they're still the best of a bad bunch in the local supermarket. Talk about damning with faint praise... (edited)

    Get over yourself.

I brew my own and have done several beer tours of Belgium, Holland and Germany. These beers are still fantastic. Yes, there are better, but not for roughly £1 a can.

Just because you've got some home brew in a garage and you've been on some beer tours does not make you an expert.

These beers are not "fantastic" by any measure. Brewdog have repeatedly and cynically reduced the quality of their brews after their initial introduction. It happened with Punk, Elvis Juice, Hazy Jane, and many more. They continue to remain silent on the matter, despite fans repeatedly asking what's changed.
They are bait and switch scumbags who don't have the decency to be honest with their customers.

"Fantastic" beer? Only if you haven't got the slightest clue what you're talking about. Maybe you need to go on some more "beer tours".

You can also add firing an employee for having a degenerative eye condition and threatening legal action on small family businesses for using vaguely similar wording to that list.

You can play Devil's Avocado but there's plenty more reasons to hate them than that. This is from someone who was a diehard Brewdog fanboy until he did some digging.

I think that these are definately over hyped and normally over priced but at less than a pound a can delivered to your door it’s a bargain.

I didn't say I was, Captain "beer tour".

Incidentally, I'm hoping to holiday in the Middle East next year. A fortnight should be enough for me to conclude the entire peace process, I mean, I have a Keter cooler in my shed already. (edited)

Have a look at a few craft lagers. Brooklyn Lager and Lost & Grounded Keller Pils are a good starting point, both in supermarkets. Download the Untappd app and check in what you drink, it'll give you reccommendations based on that.

Ultimate sell out was making the British Airways branded beer. As you say, some of this is OK, but punk they are not.

Reading through the comments, it's almost like people have different tastes and different palates from what I gather, some people like Brewdog and some people don't.........It's okay to have different opinions guys without getting into an argument about it! Nobody is right and nobody is wrong.....it is about opinions

For the record, I agree that Brewdog have 'sold out' a bit, but saying that I still think they do some really good stuff. Punk is still one of my 'go to' beers along with Vocation Life & Death and Evil Twin More or Less - they are all fine beers IMO and Tesco deliver them to my front door

    Have a fine day everybody

Its replacement (also 7.2%) is lighter in colour and appears to be made from cheaper ingredients. Brewdog won't respond to questions regarding this beer. The separate 5% version just tastes weird.

Yea I tried that and it does work as a new customer...

Thing is though - Brewdog messed up my new customer order... The parcel went missing!! I complained and they refunded me... I didnt think that was good enough - so they put £10 on my account to say sorry and ''Have some beers on them''
Thing is though - I cannot use the code to get the discount beers on that account and also benefit from the £10 credit theyve given me...
On the face of this - I dont think i will ever drink Brewdog again.... terrible service.
On the plus side - my local is selling San Miguel 440ml cans 5% 10 for £10.... Much better deal.

half the pack is punk ipa, so theres no deal on that half when you can buy in tesco, morrisons as well for that matter...... the point was to state that tescos were selling it £12 for 12, as most people drink that.

I agree with the comments about brewdog typically being overhyped and overpriced, but you really can't argue with £1 a can. There are very few ales that you will get for that sort of price and most are below average (although wychwood are a notable exception).

Now when they start selling their small cans of comparable quality beer for £4.50+ a can I fully agree there are better options, but this deal can't be anything but hot for value (although not one for me as I don't particularly enjoy Elvis juice or clockwork orange).

Incidentally I wish they'd do a pack like this with some of their cheaper darker beers/stouts, that would certainly get my money.
