Some have lower latency than others, you could find lip syncing an issue with video/TV.
I also bought a few to use my BT ANC headphones with InFlight Entertainment systems. Bear in mind that some aircraft headphone sockets are in the arm of the chair but the usb socket is in the IFE on the back of the seat in front. Thus the built-in battery versions are more practical or use a powerbank to power the non battery versions. (edited)
