About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

  • Produced using a de-ionisation process that removes all dissolved minerals, impurities and other contaminants
  • Safe for use on all types of surfaces, including paint, glass, and metal as the water is chemical free
  • De-ionised water is particularly useful in car detailing as it helps to prevent water spots and streaking on surfaces when drying
  • Perfect for car enthusiasts or professional detailers who want to maintain the appearance of their car and ensure it stays looking like new
  • It helps prevent furring and scale formation which, over time, could cause damage

    This drinkable ?

A couple of mouthfuls shouldn't hurt but it will absorb minerals from your body doing harm if you drink more. Anyway, being industrial it might have other things in it that don't leave a residue but are not food-safe.

If you make your own potable Di water the risks are still not worth it, see uswatersystems.com/can…ter

Hahahaha I’d say great minds  think alike but don’t want to drag you down to my level. (edited)

A minimal amount of this can be used after cleaning/rinsing with regular water; a final rinse. You just need to replace the drops of regular water with this stuff which leaves no spots behind if it dries before you manage to wipe it.

Would it work by spraying this in a spray bottle to displace the hard water from the car?

I use tumble dryer water which is de-ionised by the process.
    Good spot though

Not truly the same as de-ionised unless all the condensing surfaces, connections and pipework are metal-free. The instructions for my Phillips steam gen iron specifically advise against using tumble dryer water. (edited)
