I’m fairly new to watches, thinking of getting a ga-2100 that this reminds me of. Is there anything special about these Edifice models? Or is it just the design?

Sapphire crystal and full metal case. I love the look of the G-Shock models though depends what you're looking for in a watch.

The ga-2100s also have other features such as world time and led backlight.

No disrespect op and I'm not into watches really but... That hit every stick on the way down didn't it? Still voting hot though as I'm sure some people will love it.

What size spanner do you reckon you'll need to change the battery? Looks like M50 to me

Good deal if you like the looks

Ediface watches are generally good value, realiable, decent quality, wear daily and take a beating. I have a solar ediface and it never misses a beat and i get more comments on it than some far more expensive watches in my collection.

Ive seen far worse looking watches posted here imo.

    Thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting this it reminds me very much of an Audemars Piguet I misplaced on a flight to Iwate in the late 80's, took the bloody thing off as it was digging into my wrist and forgot to pick it up when I got of the flight. Unfortunately the night before I had been drinking a bottle of 25 year old Yamazaki single malt with a friend I met at the Okiya club and I was desperate to get some sleep before an important business meeting, being a domestic route there was no business class as such you only get a seat at the front of the plane. Didn't have time to chase it up due to a tight schedule so probably still stuck down the side of the chair after all these years. (edited)

Looking at that odious thing, you probably did yourself a favour leaving it on the plane.

That's one ugly watch. Hate these dates being at the 4 position. That shape though, wtf. Makes me want to get a spanner to it, lol.

Casio have had my (now) 3 month old watch for 6 weeks of those 3 months since it kept steaming up. Terrible comms too.
Plus, that is the ugliest watch I have seen in a fair while.
