This is small if todays standards mean diesel or welder size watches. For me it’s a good size. It’s big enough people say they can read it from meters away.

I've got a Tissot 40mm and is fine. My old Casio was 38mm, at that time big watches were not in fashion. This one looks so much smaller. I have a 45mm smart watch, but I don't wear it, as it is too big. (edited)

YouTube will show you how a small mod enables the countdown timer function that isn't currently enabled on this model

... and there's a similar mod whilst/if you're in there to enable 5 alarms, this one needs a link soldering closed, whereas the timer mod needs a link opening so could be done with a knife, though iron would be a safer bet. Either will invalidate your warranty!

Bear in mind, this is quite small by today standards. I have small wrists, so I don't like big watches. However, this looks more like a child watch. I've got one, I use it when I go at the beach abroad.

you have a different nodel then, i have fairly large wrists and it does not look that small at all

I had one once. I felt like James Bond, walking around Tesco adding up my shopping. Just fantastic.
Now my fingers are like bananas- big and clunky, so the buttons are too small and I’d need a new set of glasses to see the display.
Still, I’m sure these are still on sale and now I’m going to look and consider buying one.

Cracking every day work watch...The strap is the weakest part of this watch... Had mine two years and the strap lasted around 12 months...£3.99 for a replacement strap on Amazon and five min to replace

Pity they don't do the all black case version, not a fan of the silver finish at any price. But this is a nice legible display and a very good deal.

I have this watch. Battery life may be 10 years but the strap will fail way before that.

I picked one of these up today from Argos. I got bored after setting up the watch quicker than expected so I read the manual to the end. It turns out the original battery is not guaranteed for 10 years, and if it dies before 10 years, a charge will be made for its replacement, (details on last page of the UK instruction manual). The reason given for this is because the original battery is used for testing and setting up the watch in the factory, so that is counted as part of its life cycle. I also expect that as the watch is running whilst sitting in the warehouse, or shop, before sale, that time also uses up some of the 10 year cycle, and possibly why Argos regularly seem to sell some stock at half price due to the date of manufacture.
