Try pure white vinegar if black mould on a painted wall. Cheaper. No toxins. Doesn’t damage paint (edited)

We get black mould buildup on our single-glazed window frames. Use a 50:50 mix of white vinegar and water. Works well and the mild vinegar smell disappears after a few hours.

Whether you like the product or not or even have your own cheaper method this is a good deal for this product if you want to buy it. Cheapest is £3.50 everywhere else and if you can get max S&S works out at £1.97. I’ve given you the heat it deserves OP.

The sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) does the job for me but then in some troublsome areas i use some of the Dulux Kitchen And bathroom paint as an undercoat first before the main emulsion layer and that also works.

Its also worth buying a dehumidfier that can draw out or reduce dampness that causes the mould. (edited)

Ive never tried this but vinegar did not work in our bathroom. Only HG mould removal spray.
